SEO Specialist
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing our SEO strategies across all platforms in order to increase our presence and traffic growth goals.
What you will own and improve
- Perform on-page content optimizations in alignment with industry best practices
- Conduct keyword research and competitive gap analysis to inform strategic content plays, including new content, content optimization, new content formats, and innovative experiments that quickly grow traffic on relevant, high-value topics
- Building keyword lists based on company objectives and market opportunities, using data analytics from various sources
- Manage SEO-related tools and platforms including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
- Analyze key SEO datasets to identify new opportunities for organic growth and optimization
- Prepare for and adapt to Google algorithm updates
- Complete SEO fulfillment project tasks based on task due dates
- Internal Linking according to SEO best practices
What you already know
- At least 5 years of SEO experience
- You’re a strategic thinker that can follow process while also getting creative and thinking outside the box
- You’re fast-paced yet detail-oriented and can multitask with ease
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset or a hustler’s mentality
- You aren’t afraid to ask questions but are resourceful enough to find the answers on your own
- WordPress proficiency
How success is measured
- You will effectively perform on-page content optimizations and conduct keyword research and competitive gap analysis
- Review, edit, optimize and altere title tags and meta descriptions, website content optimizations, and structured data enhancements to ensure maximum search engine friendliness
- Work effectively with the SEO Manager and other SEOs
- Audit, recommend and implement technical SEO optimizations
- Research the latest SEO trends
- Writing schema markup or working with development teams to implement technical enhancements is a big plus!
